Missouri Continuing Education Requirements

The Missouri Department of Commerce & Insurance requires resident insurance producers to complete 16 hours of approved continuing education during each biennial renewal cycle. Producers with life and/or health authority or property and/or casualty authority must earn 16 hours across general and ethics topics. Producers holding both major lines may take any combination of life/health and property/casualty courses to reach 16 hours. Each producer must also complete at least 3 hours of ethics training within their CE total. Title producers are required to complete 8 hours of title‑specific CE. Non‑resident producers are exempt if they meet their home state’s requirements.
