Iowa Insurance CE Requirements:

Producers (Life, Accident & Health, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines): 36 hours of CE every three years, including 3 hours in ethics.

Crop Insurance Producers: 18 hours of CE every three years, including 3 hours in ethics.

Public Adjusters: 24 hours of CE every two years, including 2 hours in ethics.

License Renewal: Due every three years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month.

Course Repetition: Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 3-year license term.

Flood Insurance: Producers selling flood insurance must complete a one-time 3-hour National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) training course.

Annuities: Producers selling annuities must complete a one-time 4-hour annuity best interest training course.
