Embarking on a career in Oklahoma’s insurance industry requires passing a state licensing exam administered by PSI Services LLC. Although the Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) does not require pre-licensing education for most license types, engaging in a structured exam prep course is highly recommended to improve your understanding and performance.
Pre-Licensing Education Requirements:

General Lines (Life, Accident & Health, Property, Casualty, Personal Lines): No pre-licensing education required.

Bail Bondsman: Completion of 16 hours of pre-licensing education is mandatory.
