Pre-Licensing Education Requirements:
Michigan mandates completion of pre-licensing education for each line of authority:

Upon completing the required coursework, you must pass a final certification exam with a minimum score of 70%. Successful completion grants you a Certificate of Completion, valid for 12 months, which is a prerequisite for scheduling your state licensing exam.
Licensing Process Overview:

Complete Pre-Licensing Education: Enroll in a DIFS-approved course corresponding to your desired line of authority.

Pass the Certification Exam: Achieve a minimum score of 70% on the final exam to obtain your Certificate of Completion.

Schedule and Pass the State Licensing Exam: Register for the exam through PSI at psiexams.com or by calling (855) 579-4639.

Apply for Your License: Submit your application via the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) at nipr.com.
