Kansas Insurance CE Requirements:

Resident Producers (Agents): 18 hours of CE every two years, including 3 hours in ethics.

Public Adjusters: 12 hours of CE every two years, including 1 hour in ethics.

Crop Insurance Producers: 2 hours of CE every two years.

Title Insurance Producers: 4 hours of CE every two years, including 2 hours in ethics.

License Renewal: Due on the last day of the licensee’s birth month, every two years.

Course Repetition: Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2-year license term.

Flood Insurance: Producers selling flood insurance must complete a one-time 3-hour National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) training course.

Annuities: Producers selling annuities must complete a one-time 4-hour annuity best interest training course.

Long-Term Care (LTC): Producers selling LTC insurance must complete an initial 4-hour training and at least 1 hour of CE in LTC each renewal period.
