Indiana Insurance CEThe Department of Insurance in Indianapolis requires Indiana Insurance agents to take 20 Insurance Continuing Education hours every 2 years. Indiana Insurance Agents who have 4 year Insurance Licenses are required to take 40 hours of Indiana Insurance Continuing Education every 4 years. Indiana Title producers with 4 year licenses must complete 14 hours in courses related to the business of title insurance with at least 4 hours of courses in a classroom environment or comparable self-study in Ethics, Title Insurance, Escrow, or Principles of federal Real Estate. Title producers with a two year license must complete 7 hours in title insurance courses. Indiana Insurance producers holding 4 year limited lines must complete 10 hours of CE courses on any subject.

Additional Indiana Insurance Continuing Education Requirements:

  • Long Term Care - Indiana Producers who sell Long Term Care policies must complete 8 hours of LTC education prior to selling LTC policies and must include 5 hours of LTC CE every 2 years thereafter.
  • Indiana Insurance Agents wanting to market policies in the Indian Long Term Care Partnership Program must have 15 hours of CE (8 hours basic LTC and 7 hours in Partnership training - Classroom Only) before soliciting Partnership Policies.
