Georgia Insurance CEWe've Georgia on our mind... In Atlanta, the Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner requires the Georgia Insurance Agent who had thier license for less than 20 years must complete 15 hours of Georgia Insurance CE every year. If you've held your Georgia Insurance License for over 20 years you only have to take 10 hours of Continuing Education every year. If you only hold a Georgia Credit Insurance or Georgia Limited Subagent license only you must complete 5 hours of Georgia Insurance CE annually. Workers Comp Adjusters in Georgia must complete 10 hours of CE through the WC Board each year.

Additional Georgia Insurance Continuing Education Requirements:

  • Every CE credit you earn must cover the lines in which you are licensed in order for the CE to count towards your renewal.
  • LTCP - If you sell Long Term Care Insurance in Georgia you must complete a one-time 8 hour LTC training courses followed by 4 hours of ongoing LTC training every 2 years thereafter.
  • You cannot repeat courses for up to 5 years except for Ethics, legislative updates, or current issues.

Georgia Insurance Continuing Education Courses are reported automatically to Vertafore (Sircon) once you complete your course.
